Design Brief: Create an international marketing campaign for Jeep®

This was a project in my advertising class for a 3-month promotional campaign for Jeep®, as they expanded into a new market in India. The goal was to build brand awareness in this new market by creating memorable advertising consisting of a billboard, social media ad, a commercial, and a promotional item to be offered to new customers.
My main role in the project was market researcher, where I looked at the advertising costs across several different platforms, competitors in the region, and the overall target audience. Using that information, my team and I collaborated on a design concept using bold, vibrant colors commonly found in Indian culture. It was my idea to turn the iconic front exterior of the jeep into a smiling face, and we used the slogan, “All is Well”, from the Bollywood movie “3 Idiots”, to position the Jeep® brand as a more fun, quirky, and energetic alternative to its competitors. The advertising campaign was scheduled to run for a total of 3 months.
