The brief required a main logo and variations that specifically in a badge / crest option that could be used across different types of merchandise. For the main logo, I paired a bolder display serif font and a thinner sans-serif font to create a logo that reflected the high-end, luxurious aesthetic the brand wants to emulate. For the badges, I adapted the logo and company information into two different shapes: a rounded-shaped badge meant to be reminiscent of a compass with a compass-rose inspired logomark in the middle, and an inverted pentagon that resembles a camping badge or a tent with the logomark included at the bottom.

For the POS posters, I referenced high-end fashion advertisements that used strong imagery combined with a bold headline and logo. It was important to create something that felt aspirational and prestigious, since the brand wants to be set apart from its competitors for its quality and high-end price point.
